Our ‘Gathering and Giving’ evening last night was well attended. Parents and students were treated to wonderful First Nations’ dances and the unveiling of our Buffalo mural. Then families had an opportunity to participate in one of the many activities throughout the school which focussed on giving. This week we continued to read our novel, The City of Ember and wrapped up our Science investigations of Alberta wetlands. In Math, we continued to work on multiplication of small and large numbers.
Reminders
Calgary Food Bank
From now until December 17th we will be collecting non-perishable food for the Calgary Food Bank. Foodbank boxes are now placed around the school to accept any and all donations.
